Long Term Projects

Not really a long term job, but will feature here as it progresses is my (Tom - Newsletter Editor) new Zephyr. After being sat in a lock up for the last 10 years, I drove it off only to have the brakes seize up... So a tow truck ride later and the car was delivered here - the best place for it. While its been here getting the brakes sorted, a set of steel wheels courtesy of a Mustang were fitted and the front suspension lowered to give a mean nose down stance.

Dan Burnham's ‘50 Chevy truck has been in the country for only two weeks and is already wearing independent front suspension, new rear axle (on top of the springs instead of underneath), tilt steering column, bulkhead mounted power brakes and a V8 Chevy with 4 speed auto box. Here you can see the new exhaust being worked on.

Dan would like to thank all those that have helped so far.

Rebbecca’s (not Beccy - sorry!) Ranchero is coming along nicely now that the disc brake conversion has arrived from the States. We will also be making a hidden towbar for it and hope to have the car finished in the not too distant future...
