In the Garage

During the hottest July on record, people were happy to take shade where they could find it. Here's Sash hard at work on a 57 Buick, which has had work done here before. It has returned to check out an exhaust leak. The orginal manifolds were re-machined and refitted saving the grateful owner a fortune. It's amazing how hot it can get even under a cool car!

Keith continued the work on the 70 Dart (not 71 as stated in last month's update, apologies). All the rot has been cut out and replaced with new metal, welded up and then the welds ground back for a smooth finish prior to rubbing down, priming and paint.

Jerry Chatabox dropped in with his beautiful 32 Ford. He's driving to Spain, where he is DJ'ing an event, and decided on having fenders fitted so as not to attract too much attention from the local Policia. Like fenders will help!
