In
the Garage
Late January saw an event which has never
happened previously in the history of Burnham Autos. Paul & Chris took a two week holiday!
Needless to say they had a great time in the sunny climes of the Dominican Republic, but more
on that later.
Lang Gifford recently acquired, from Geordie
Paul at Duksville, this steel Ford Pickup. He popped by for a once over, MOT and for the
caterpillar & bugs to be removed from the carb float chamber! Evidently this little hot rod
is for the Mrs as Lang runs a 32 Coupe. It should keep her excited with a small Block Chevy,
triple carbs and manual gearbox.

Lee Chubby brought his immaculate 57 Chevy in
for a service, replacement driver's door glass and for a rear oil seal to be fitted. The car
features an unmolested engine complete with the factory fitted A/C unit on top of the engine.
Makes changing the spark plugs quite a challenge.
