Long Term Projects
The original Rolls grill was unusable so we
'fabbed' a complete new unit which now houses the fan, air con radiator and water radiator. We
think it looks better than the original! Evidently the Rolls is complicated and this brake linkage
shown underneath is just one example. The engine's in too and we’re getting near completion with
this now. All Rolls Royces should run Chevy V8s!

Ian's daily driven Pontiac has got a strange
noise emitting from the rear axle and a slight leak in the radiator, but it will be back on the
road by the time you read this...

Audie's ‘36 Chevy now has its engine in and has
been fired up for the first time while he was visiting. Chevy V8 straight out of the manifolds....
we love making customers smile like that!

Paul's Buick is coming along - I mentioned last
month he's started making parts out of polished stainless, well I got the car outside and managed
to get some photos of the stainless sills (both inner and outer)... The second B post is now
completed (with inner stainless rain channel) and Paul is now heading towards the back on this
side, which will include lifting the inner arch up for clearence. The floor pan had previously
been repaired and was three layers thick 16g - it is now one layer thick 18g. He had weight issues
but now he’s curing them!

It seems Dan Burnham has got the Burnham hands,
having gone completely overboard with this stainless blower mount made from scratch! Paul says,
“That's my boy!” (But he’s still p'd because Dan got a blower before he did... the things you do
for your kids!)
