In the Garage

In this month's bumper edition will cover as much as possible, but this update is only the tip of the iceberg as a multitude of vehicles pass through the doors during the month.

First up is a lovely 42 Chevy which has come in for it's first 500 mile check over and a few other bits and bobs. But don't be fooled by the "mild mannered" appearance. This baby is fitted with NOS. Stand Back!

Next is friend and Throttlers member Dom's 50's Chevy. Dom popped in on Saturday for a tune up, only to find that his gearbox had given up the ghost. Fortunately he'd made it to the garage, more than lucky? Sadly the only way to get the gearbox out is to remove the whole engine. After some thought it was decided to remove the cross member below the gearbox and replace it with a new one after the job had been done. A useful modification for the future should the need arise again.

Occasionally at Burnhams we also work on other modified vehicles, take this Suburban for example. It's already been fitted with a lift-kit and a truckload of toys. It's in for some work on the brakes, some CV boots and to get it's TV fixed. It's also for sale, if you are interested give the office a call and they will put you in touch with the owner.
