In the Garage

With the show season well underway, it's good to see so many of the cars that have passed through here out and about. Of course this is the Burnham way, it's a car and should be driven and enjoyed. No doubt the garage will be full of them all winter when the MOT's are due.

These are the first pictures on the internet of these two vehicles since coming out of storage where they have been laid up for the last 20 years. Originally products of the legendary Hollywood auto stylist George Barris, they have been shipped to the UK and are currently owned by Gary Hillman. In for some general mechanical repairs and some spit & polish, it is awesome to see these to icons of 70's car culture in the "flesh". This 71 Dodge Dart Swinger has arrived for some rust removal and body repairs prior to a full respray. It's thought the owner will keep with the current black paint scheme, but we'll keep you posted when we know more.
