In
the Garage

June and it’s a typical summer Tuesday evening
down at Burnham Autos. The sun shining, the sound of a V8 flying through the countryside in the
distance, and plenty of friends coming down to hang out and push cars around! So for this
update we thought we'd show you a few of their rides in return...

Clean Kevs ‘69 Pontiac already had airbags and
wheels, and it’s now also just had gold mentalflake paint and ghost flames. But he’s bored
already so the car can be found for sale on eBay. This car has just won best custom at
Billing...

Friend of Burnham Autos, Mike, has just bought
his first Yank; which runs a V8 and is rear wheel drive. Paul says it would make a good
donor!

Paul Burnham's even got himself a new daily
driver and it's a big’n! Now Paul's near on 6 foot and as you can see in the photo he only comes
up to the doors... That makes the truck 13 feet high! Crap jokes aside, it’s a restored ‘48
Chevy twin wheel truck, and it’s the business for bouncing down the country lanes in. It could
also be for sale if the price is right (£7500), and yeah, it really is this clean...

And now for some actual work...
Cookie's ’53 Oldsmobile has been dug out of storage for some finishing work on the roof chop
and suspension. Hopefully we will be able to continue work on this until completion, but as well
as being half way through a roof chop, its also half way through front suspension change, rear
suspension change and everything else... PS. Paul says thanks for the re-chromed bumper...
mate!

Here’s Ray's Cadillac which is now running a
fuel injected Chevy small block and four speed auto, plus 4 inches out of the suspension.
