In the Garage

With Paul back from California where he was visiting friends, including "Wild" Bill, it's time to get to grips with another months update from the Shop.

Yes it's still here, the owner of the 1956 F100 Pickup has added a few extra jobs to the list. So it's not that we are slow but more that we try to accommodate our customers requirements. Occasionally however you may have to be patient.

A quartet of 59 Caddy taillights has been frenched (Frenching is alive and well in Burnham Autos and yes we are talking about tunnelling items into bodywork!) into the wheel arches which have themselves been banded by 1.5 inches to accept the 275/60/17 Toyo's. Notice the extra lip on the inner arch near the body, oh and the lovely stainless exhaust.

Friend Rick's Capri has popped in for a quick cam and manifold change to add to the Chevy 350 that already nestles in the engine bay. The Chevy is mated to a Toyota 5 speed manual gearbox and is what Paul describes as a "Drivers Car". Translation - Goes like Stink, Try keeping up!
