In
the Garage
None of this weird weather we've been having
has had an effect on the work rate at Burnham Autos. Neither hail, torrential rain nor storms
can do anything to dampen the spirits at the UK's hardest working Hot Rod builders. We are
looking forward to the season starting in earnest. A big hello to everyone who attended the
recent NSRA Swap Meet & thanks to the organisers, a great event as usual.
Toyota Hi Lux's aren't usually the norm here at Burnham Autos, but the head gasket on the
already fitted Buick... sorry... Rover V8 had gone so we didn't mind sorting this one out.
Especially as the owner wanted to fit a lumpy cam too.

Johnny Armstrong imported this 27 T from
the States and brought it in to improve the legroom (he's 6ft 3!) and to get a custom made
cream leather interior. It doesn't come complete with dead body, that's Ian working on the
floor and firewall. It's amazing the positions these boys get themselves into to get the
work done.

Paul Burnham Look-a-like and Stunt Double,
Roland, brought his 85 Chevy truck in for the 4.3 V6 to get a quick tune up. This is
Roland's current daily driver and is a good work horse. It's also for sale, you can contact
Roland through Paul in the usual way, if you can tell them apart that is!
