In
the Garage
The show season is now officially on. A rather
damp but none the less great day at Wheels Day heralded the start of 2006 for many Yank and Rod
owners. Once again there was an exceptional turnout, which is testament to the high regard this
event is held in by the Rod/Custom/Yank owning fraternity, another great job Surrey Street
Rodders. Thanks to Guest Photographer Nick Grant for this shot of Paul's Buick and Ray's
Plymouth perched high on the banking. If anyone has any photos of Paul's exit, not that he was
doing a rolling burnout from the bottom of the hill to the top. No, he had experienced a slight
technical problem with the "traction control" and photo's would help solve the mystery as to
how this happened. Photos to autoholics@hotmail.com

Some people ask if Burnham Auto's is
environmentally friendly . Well just to prove that it is this Camaro is being recycled. The rear
axle, engine, gearbox, interior and now glass have all been redeployed. Yes it's a shame to
break up an old Yank but this one was beyond repair but at least the sprit lives on. There are
still some parts remaining so call and talk to Ian if there's anything you need.
