In the Garage

May is now coming to an end, and quicker than we all thought it would, I bet. As well as it being the busiest time of year at Burnham Autos my knee's packed up on me and I haven't been able to get down the 'shop to get the photos... so I'm sorry for the delay in getting this to you. Too many miles on the push bike. Should just stick to cars right?

Anyway...

Friend of Burnham Autos, Adrian, has just completed his '49 Chevrolet truck. Although we only supplied advice on the build we will be proud to be associated with the immaculate workmanship that Adrian has carried out... Well done mate it takes a lot to impress us.

Speedy's 32 roadster received a quick hand made trans tunnel since Paul's leg is just the right curve for it!

This Cobras rear diff support had a nasty bend in it; probably due to the V8 Chevy and 5 speed manual. We straightened it out and strengthened it with the use of some triangulation.

You saw this first back in February and the modified Bentley panel van now has working suspension and has just passed its MOT. This was about to leave when the customer decided he also wanted a new stereo fitted...

And the second Bentley in the shop is this super rare Bentley Special which is in for some pedal and floor pan modifications for Alan Carrington of Carrington Classics...

Here at Burnham Autos we'll work on anything with a V8 in it. Rumour has it this is the fastest boat on the River Medway...
