Long Term Projects
New into the workshop this month is this 1950 Humber Pullman. This is in to finish off an existing project that was started 9 years ago. All the work up to date has been carried out by the owner in a single garage, no mean feat I'm sure you will agree. After it's "Dry Build" the bare bones have now been exposed prior to painting and plumbing. The engine is a 5.3 V12 Jag unit and the Jag also donated the remainder of the running gear. This "monster" will be fuel injected and equipped with NOS.

As previously seen in May's Update, Colin Burbridge's Ford Pop has received a shortened 4 bar kit - shortened to allow for rear passenger legroom. The car is also in a "Dry Build" stage and will shortly have it's engine and body removed for painting etc. Ian has custom built a new pedal box also using Ford gear and a matching heater box for the old favourite, a Mini heater. The rims of the American Racing wheels have been covered to protect them during any welding and cutting.

Mystery Rod
As promised two month's ago the Mystery Rod makes it return this month with a shot of the engine. Can you tell where it originated? There's a clue at the top and the bottom of the photo. And remember don't phone or write, it's just for fun!
